NEK MISS SASSAFRAS (AMHR) 2006 35" chocolate silver dapple mare (Fairway Farms Starfire x Hodies Little Miss Sandy).  Our own home bred filly, a winner in hand starting at just 3 mos old and green broke to drive.  Reserve Ch. in hand 2008.  This little girl is growing into a lovely mare.  Striking color and a beautiful tail flagging, floating trot, she should be a nice driving prospect. WHITE'S ISABELLA AMHA/R (Hobby Horses Roan Ranger x Whites Diamond Lil) is our 33" DNA AMHA/AMHR coal black mare.  She is such a joy.  She's a wonderful broodmare and has produced her babies have been tiny and correct.  She has beautiful straight legs, a tiny muzzle, lovely face, strong topline and nice sloping shoulder.  Isabella foaled a bright chestnut colt on May 28th, 2009.  See the 'foals' page for photos.  Isabella is bred to ERL Buck N Velvet for a 2010 foal. DARROS SKIPPERS ITZY BITZY NUFFIN AMHA, Parent Qualified (Little America's X Skipper x  Oak Forest Butterfly) . Despite her diminutive size (28"), she rules the roost. She moved from Texas to Pennsylvania to Vermont, went to her first show and placed in all her classes with next to no show training....all in the space of 3 months!  She's Komoko, Bond, Van't Huttenest.  Nuffin is bred to ERL Buck N Velvet for a June 2010 foal.

LEAP OF FAITH'S EMOTION IN MOTION  AMHR 31.5" 2003 black mare.  We fell in love with "Emmy" the first time we saw her a few years ago.  Towards the end of that show season, we had the opportunity to show her. She did a spectacular job.  We never thought we'd have the opportunity to own her but, fast forward and she's a member of the family at NEK.  "Emmy" is a beauty and we have high hopes for her both as a broodmare and a showmare.  "Emmy" foaled a black colt on May 17, 2009 by Velvets Blue Skye, the bright bay son of our own Whites's Isabella and is double Blue Boy bred.  She has been bred to ERL Buck N Velvet for 2010.
